2019 – 2021
This project entails the realignment of 2 sections of the North Coast line to allow for the upgrade of the Bruce Hwy to 4 lanes. As a result, 2 new level crossings (with pedestrian crossings) at Deppeler Rd and Maher Rd shall be installed on the new alignment. Deppeler Rd also required Traffic Light Co-ordination.
As a part of this project, Omada was involved in the development of scope of works, designed the AS Plans which involved performing braking calculations and level crossing warning time calculations to determine positioning of equipment. This was completed with effective stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery.
